At WAW music we believe every child carries a natural sense of music within them. With over 30 years of combined academic and professional experience, we blend a warm, playful approach with a strong formal foundation. Through world songs, rhythm, movement, and hands-on instrument exploration, we help children grow as confident, creative musicians—ready to thrive in any youth program, band, or orchestra.

Our original program is built on over 30 years of combined academic and professional experience, blending a playful, creative approach with a strong formal foundation. Through songs from around the world, rhythmic exploration, movement, and hands-on work with instruments, we guide children to discover music in meaningful and enjoyable ways. We also nurture educated young musicians who explore multiple ways of making music and develop the skills to succeed confidently in any youth program, band, or orchestra.

Music Lessons
Our 30-minute private lesson offers a focused and engaging introduction to music, ideal for young learners or students who thrive with shorter, concentrated sessions. Each class blends essential technique, repertoire, and creative exploration in a way that feels clear, motivating, and manageable.
A typical lesson may include:
• Warm-ups and basic technical skills (posture, tone, finger work, breathing, bowing, etc.)
• Short repertoire pieces or favorite songs
• Rhythm and ear-training games
• Hands-on instrumental exploration or guided improvisation
• A simple practice plan for the week
Despite the shorter length, students make steady progress through consistent, personalized instruction. Every session is designed to build confidence, spark curiosity, and help students develop a joyful, lasting relationship with their instrument.
Our one-hour private lesson offers students a focused and personalized musical experience tailored to their instrument of choice. Each session combines technique, repertoire, ear training, and creative exploration, allowing students to build strong foundational skills while developing their own musical voice.
Depending on the student’s level and goals, the class may include:
• Warm-ups and technical development (posture, tone, finger work, bowing, breathing, etc.)
• Repertoire study—classical pieces, world music, or favorite songs
• Rhythm and ear-training activities to strengthen musical understanding
• Improvisation and creative exercises
• Music-making with tracks or duets for motivation and fun

Program Name: “Little Sounds, Big Hearts”
Ages: 6 months to 3 years (with caregiver)
Format: Group class – 8 children max + caregivers
Duration: 6 weeks | 1 class per week | 45 minutes each
Program Overview
“Little Sounds, Big Hearts” is a joyful, research-based early childhood music program designed by WAW Music School.
It fosters musical development, emotional bonding, and motor coordination in toddlers through interactive group classes shared with their caregivers.
Using voice, movement, rhythm instruments, and storytelling, this class honors the natural learning stages of children aged 6 months to 3 years, while creating a nurturing community space for families.
